How to add Trackbacks in Blogspot Blogs

"Trackback is a system that alerts and allows a blogger to see who has blogged about posts on his or her blog. The system works by sending a 'ping' between the blogs, and therefore providing the alert."

Unfortunately, unlike Wordpress, Blogspot does not have this facility by default. So blogspot blogs need to use third party tools.

Haloscan is an immensely popular tool. It provides a free, easy to use commenting and trackback service for weblogs and websites, allowing visitors to leave feedback, share their opinion, or comment on the subject at hand.

One more good feature of this tools is that you can include images in your comment.

I have installed it today.

Register for free with Haloscan and follow its simple procedure to include the code into your template. Be careful to take backup of your template before any modification.
